Pre-Purchase Inspections

Why get an inspection?

Buying a new home is expensive and stressful.  Knowing the condition of the septic system can help you avoid costly mistakes, and budget for the future.

Sellers may chose to have their system pre-inspected so they can address any problems or use the report so they can get top dollar.

How do you help?

Janice was a Realtor in a previous life.  She knows no one likes thinking about this stuff.  She is adept at clearly letting you know what is going on without causing fear and potentially sinking a deal.

What if things are bad?

You'll tell the other side and ruin negotiations

If the system of the home you are considering is not functioning as intended or is near the end of its lifespan, there are options.  Repairs or maintenance may improve the health of your system and extend its life. Your Realtor will have strategies to help navigate the next steps you need to take in the home buying process.

What does an inspection entail?

We utilize technology to be as unobtrusive as possible. (i.e pipe cameras)  We examine every component we reasonably can to determine if the system is functioning as per its design. We check flows, levels, for setting etc.

The Report

What does an inspection entail?

We use prescribed language to report our findings.  We are happy to explain what everything means in common language too.  Your report is released only to you the client.  It may offer suggestions as to maintenance or repairs that should occur.
