ROWP stands for Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner. There are four designations within this professional designation, Planner (PL), Inspector (IN), Maintenance Provider (MP) and Installer (IN).
It is required in BC that systems be installed or supervised by a person with the ROWP-IN designation. This is better for you the client. It's an extra check and balance that the system (and investment you've made) is well-designed and built properly so it will perform well for many years. We will only certify systems installed under the supervision of a ROWP-IN.
